The Barre Unified Union School District is pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2019, Aladdin Food Management Services will be servicing all 4 of our schools. Aladdin has served nutritious and delicious food to Barre City Elementary & Middle School and Spaulding Union High School/Central VT Career Center for the last several years and we are confident they will have a smooth transition into Barre Town Middle & Elementary School as well.
Please take note of the new Mealtime materials on the website regarding the new parent portal. All student balances have been transferred over from the previous K-12 payment center. Due to the mandatory minimum State of VT Department of Child Nutrition price requirements, at Barre Town Middle & Elementary and Spaulding Union High School/ Central VT Career Center we have increased our meal prices for students and adults. We are very excited to announce that this school year all children will continue to receive free breakfast, lunch, and supper regardless of your household income eligibility.
While meals are free, it is still very important for families to complete the Application for Free & Reduced Price School Meals to track our community’s Free & Reduced Percentage. The most convenient way to complete the application is to apply through the parent portal in Infinite Campus. If you need assistance in obtaining a parent portal sign-on please contact the registrar at your student's school.
