Welcome to the Human Resources office at the Barre Unified Union School District.

We are here to assist employees with issues and questions related to life, health, and disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; wellness; personal, medical, or maternity leave; and workers compensation.

The Barre Unified Union School District offers a wide range of health and dental plans that allow employees to tailor a plan to their unique needs, circumstances, and objectives. The plans are administered by The Vermont Education Health Initiative (VEHI), and answers to all of your questions about plans, costs, coverages, and more can be found by visiting the VEHI Website.

Leaves of Absence

It is possible that at one time or another, you will need to request a Leave of Absence under the Family Medical Leave Act or the Vermont Parental Leave Act. Should this ever be the case, there are a number of forms you will need to complete and return to the Human Resources office.
